Oncology Yoga - Yoga Therapy to support Cancer Care

It is estimated that 1 in 2 of the population in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

A cancer diagnosis and the journey of treatments and surgeries can be a stressful, exhausting and traumatic time. Treatment can result in long recoveries, uncertainty and long-lasting physical and mental side effects.

There is a growing body of evidence supporting the use of yoga therapy to help better manage the psychological impact of having cancer (stress, anxiety & depression, PTSD), as well as the physical side-effects both during and after a diagnosis.

See below for some of the recent research and articles.
